FRIAR ENGINEERING DRIVETRAIN


At Friar Engineering we have combind the finest in components from various manufactures to give you one of the toughest most reliable rear ends available.  We start our Ford 9 inch systems based on either a 3 inch or 3.5 inch Spidertrax housing.  Combined that with Stange Engineerings’ 35 spline ST axles for the street or 40 spline Pro Race for the strip.  For the ultimate in strength we have a 5 on 5.5 inch 40 spline full floater assembly that can take everything you can throw at it.   Then we pack them with your choice of Stranges’ Nodular Iron/ Lightweight Aluminum or the Ultra Aluminum center case filled with a lightweight spool or Detroit Locker.  Whether you are pre running Baja, crushing rocks, or tearing up the strip we can provide you with a rear end to meet your challenges.  We also offer a full line of GM 10 and 12 bolt assemblies for the F body car as well as Dana 60’s that “bolt-in” Chrysler A,B and E-body cars along with GM-A,G and leaf spring applications.

This is a Jeep Wrangler 97-06 TJ stock replacement Spidertrax axle assembly. The pinion is indexed for a 3"-6" lift. It has 35 spline axles, Strange 3rd member and Ford SVO Brakes.
